About the ride

The Fathering Project’s “BIG PUSH” bike ride from Sydney to Canberra is now on 30th April - 2nd May 2021, will be a fun filled event that brings fathers, father figures and family members together with the one goal of celebrating what is a man’s most important role in the world, being a dad. It runs over 3 days, it will cover 320km and will help us raise much needed funds to continue our work with "at risk" families affected by generational fatherlessness. This program work with dads who required our support, education and practical help to build stronger relationships with their kids, as we know this leads to greater child outcomes. Your support for this ride will help us expand this program across the country.

A maximum of 32 riders will join us for this event to help raise much needed funds and awareness for The Fathering Project. The registration cost will include a riding jersey valued at $129, accommodation, all meals & snacks and transport from Canberra to Sydney. Also, each rider will have a goal to raise a minimum $2,000 as part of their registration.

The ride provides an opportunity for personal growth and achievement for all riders although the main objective of this ride is a charitable one whilst having fun.  So fundraising is very important!
