Almost one New Zealander every day is diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer which is higher in number than brain, ovarian and cervical cancers. This is something that can affect anyone, at any age and can cost upwards of $50,000 to treat it. This is huge amount of money and stress for someone facing cancer treatment. Plus there is no facility currently available in New Zealand to treat this. I want to help change this and bring the treatment to NZ but need your help and support for it to happen. 

On 6th April 2019 I will begin a 630 km challenging cycle ride starting from Glenorchy that will end in Wellington. The ride is to raise awareness and funds for Unicorn Foundation which is a registered charity dedicated to revolutionising the way Neuroendocrine Tumours/Cancer (NET Cancer) is diagnosed and managed in New Zealand.

While most people have been relaxing over summer, I’ve been training hard every single day on my bike to prepare myself for this challenging bike ride. This will be my second bike ride to help make a difference for New Zealanders. To make this a success I would love your support – please donate whatever you can manage to help with this cause. 

Your donations will go towards providing support to patients, families and medical professionals involved in treatment for Neuroendocrine Tumours/Cancer (NET Cancer). Unicorn Foundation NZ is also currently working towards bringing specialised treatment called PRRT to NZ that will be a huge relief to the patients.
