The inSpire initiative aims to fill a crucial gap in support services for victim-survivors from migrant and refugee communities, empowering women to rebuild their lives after family violence ends.

By helping women establish economic independence, build connections with community, and strengthen bonds between mother and child, inSpire programs assist women to move past family violence.

During COVID-19 we’ve seen a 20% increase in the number of women reaching out for support. Clients are more vulnerable than ever, experiencing tremendous financial hardship as many are on a temporary visa, ineligible for social supports like Centrelink or JobKeeper.

To combat this we’ve launched a COVID-19 crisis response project from inSpire, delivering urgent food relief to our most vulnerable clients.

Since April this year, we’ve distributed more than 11,000 eggs, 1,300 liters of dairy, and 780 boxes of fresh vegetables and pantry items to more than 200 women and children. But none of this is possible without you.
